We are all one. If we all knew it, we could not hurt one another. By sharing this message, perhaps we can change the world. Visit OneJourney.net to learn more!
Real Life is change itself, a ceaseless flow of creative forces expressed in ever-new forms. So, our inability to make a fresh start isn’t because Life refuses us what we need to succeed. The problem is this: before we can hope to make a real new beginning in life, we must deliberately release our old claims upon it; for it is only in letting go of whatever binds us to our past that we are free to realize the promise of who we may yet be.

Thank you guy for the inspirational post. I’m a huge fan and have learned so much from your wisdom. Letting go, has been one of my greatest challenges. I’m still working on it, but find each time I’m faced with a difficult circumstance, that I’m getting better at releasing my own notions of how life is supposed to turn out. I find myself getting out of my way, just a bit quicker….I have you to thank for that

Hi Delissa — My name is Kate, I work with Guy and manage his blog here on Beliefnet. I’m glad you found this post to be helpful! I know what you mean about “getting out of my way just a bit quicker”… it truly is a miracle when we begin to see the parts of us that create obstacles where there actually are none, simply through our resistance to the moment. I love this quotation from Guy — “Letting go is the natural release that always follows the realization that holding on hurts.”
