Looks Like Bad History Is Winning in Texas

posted by Rev. Barry W. Lynn

Jay, At least we can agree on one thing: let’s not rewrite history. But that appears to be all that the right-wing members on the Texas State Board of Education want to do. We’ve already been through this once with [...]

Welcomed Decisions by 9th Circuit on Pledge & National Motto

posted by Jay Sekulow

Barry, I know we’ve got health care and the issue of textbook curriculum on the discussion pages, but I wanted to briefly report on a couple of decisions by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit – decisions [...]

Putting Health Care on Hold as Curriculum Questions Arise

posted by Jay Sekulow

Barry, I agree the polls on President’s health care reform plan are universally poor and I understand why most Americans believe the plan is not good for the economy and that we need to start over – an option that [...]

Healthcare Substance More Important Than Style

posted by Rev. Barry W. Lynn

It is not clear at this point how, if at all, the President’s health care plan will be enacted. Polls on this topic are universally poor.  So, let’s try to simplify this. Jay, do you agree or disagree with these [...]

More to Come
Barry,   It's hard to believe that we've been debating these constitutional issues for more than two years now in this space.  I have tremendous respect for you and wish you all the best in your new endeavors.   My friend, I'm sure we will continue to square off in other forums - on n

President Obama is the "Angel of Death"? Give me a break!

Juan Williams' Firing: Political Correctness Over the Top
Barry, it's the ultimate in political correctness.  Losing your job for being honest - for expressing a feeling - a thought.  The problem is that in the case of former NPR journalist Juan Williams, an honest thought - expressing a feeling - about Muslims and 9-11 - cost him his job.
