The Two Days I Could Not Find the Real Constitution

posted by Rev. Barry W. Lynn | 11:07am Wednesday September 22, 2010

Jay, I couldn’t agree with you more – we should honor the Constitution every single day. Unfortunately, the past two weekends I found myself surrounded by people who don’t seem to value the Constitution as much as I do. It [...]

Supreme Court & Protecting Rights of Christian Groups

Barry, I do believe the constitutional challenges against the health care law will succeed.  Specifically, in my view, it will be the Commerce Clause violation that ultimately will result in this law being declared unconstitutional.  It also seems very likely [...]

From Congress to the Courts

Barry, It wasn’t want the American people wanted – but it’s what they got.  President Obama – with a last minute deal to secure the necessary votes – agreed to issue an Executive Order on the abortion funding issue in [...]

Barry,   I’m surprised you are not applauding the first year record of President Obama’s White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.  The White House touts its first year accomplishments and says it has “brought people together across religious lines” [...]

More to Come
Barry,   It's hard to believe that we've been debating these constitutional issues for more than two years now in this space.  I have tremendous respect for you and wish you all the best in your new endeavors.   My friend, I'm sure we will continue to square off in other forums - on n

President Obama is the "Angel of Death"? Give me a break!

Juan Williams' Firing: Political Correctness Over the Top
Barry, it's the ultimate in political correctness.  Losing your job for being honest - for expressing a feeling - a thought.  The problem is that in the case of former NPR journalist Juan Williams, an honest thought - expressing a feeling - about Muslims and 9-11 - cost him his job.
