As Martha Williamson recalls a story she never got to tell Art Linkletter when she met him, she reminds us that if there is something you want to share with someone, do it now and don’t wait. You might not get another chance.

What a wonderful reminder! Letting people know how special they are to us or the impact they’ve had on our lives shouldn’t be put off. Fortunately, only a few years before she passed away, I was able to thank a wonderful eighth-grade teacher for fostering my love of English and writing. Her response was heartwarming, but it saddened me, too. Incredulously, she said that I was the first student in her lifetime of teaching who had ever thanked her. Since then, I have tried to make it a point to take time from my hectic days to let people know that I appreciate them. It only takes a minute to thank that sales clerk who goes out of the way to help me or to acknowledge someone who has inspired me. And you, Martha, are one of my greatest inspirations! Thank you for sharing your life and faith and for being such a positive role model. God bless you for standing strong!

I love this because it is really affecting me right now. I am losing ground fast with my Congestive Heart Failure and am facing an artificial heart. No chance of a heart transplant due to some circumstances. So with that coming up, I have been trying to write letters of appreciation and thank yous to special people and other remembrances of my life.
Talk about a reflection on your life. It has been an eye opener for me. I feel like I am in an emotional train wreck with all that I have told and wrote to people. I tell everyone I meet that I am glad they are in my life and that I love them. Some have moved beyond our friendship. I should have tried harder to make it work but I have written them now and told them that I still have them in my prayers and thoughts. I have heard from some but they tend to be skeptical of my motives so I have written them a final farewell letter that will be sent to them after I pass.
I know that we never know when we will be taken from this existence but I am trying to make the best of what time I do have. I pray that the plan for me in the future will include cherished people from my past to make amends.
I also cherish all that you do for your subscribers and me. You will forever be in my thoughts, prayers and heart.
I loved your series of TBAA and cry at the ending in all them that I have seen and always will. No shows have affected me more than that show. God Bless you and your staff for all you do to and for me.
Thank you Martha
