So was the accident in CA or No. VA – both places are filled with accidents waiting to happen. Glad you are OK.

Thanks so much, jestrfyl — it was in Washington DC, right near the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and I was on my way to a movie screening. The car was totalled and I am very, very lucky that the black eye was my only injury.

I know that intersection well – a veritable 6 way street! I sometimes wonder if the DC streets were designed that way so everyone in government is kept in good practice looking over their shoulder, both ways, and straight ahead all at once!
I hope the movie was worth one car and one black eye. Now, did you wear an eyepatch at Comic-Con, just to keep in the spirit of the event? I hope you will post an extensive set of thoughts on tht event (Ooooh, my jealousy is oozing right now!).
