Anything Can Happen Day Giveaway

posted by Nell Minow | 8:00am Sunday October 12, 2008

If you’re as old as I am, you remember the Mickey Mouse Club’s “Anything Can Happen Day.”

In that spirit, I’m going to have an anything-can-happen giveaway grab-bag. The first TEN people to send me an email at moviemom@moviemom.com with Anything Can Happen in the subject line will get a DVD from my collection. Let me know the ages of your children and any other preferences to help me decide, but I make no promises. At worst, you’ll get a DVD you can pass on to a more appropriate recipient. I’m not sending out anything awful, but some of this stuff is not exactly classic. That’s what anything can happen means! I look forward to hearing from you and good luck to all!

Nell, I have been hearing your movie reviews for many years now on FM 100 in Memphis. I appreciate your opinions and insights. Although my kids are in their 30′s now, they still enjoy watching good movies, as I guess most folks do, so you pick one that you like if I am one of the first 10. Thanks, Rance

Show me the way to give her some praise and to glorify just how long I have been an absolute (GA-GA) fan of Pam Grier. only she may remember an long ago photoshoot in which Pam Greir was in the same photograph with an Black-and-White television screen containing the other woman I adore(Though not so much) Wilma Flintstone. if Pam Grier doe remember this photo shoot then anything can happen? When I was but an teenager she was on an poster in my sleeping room. now at 53 I still adore her!
