A promising premise, some intense action, and a lively appearance by Billy Bob Thornton might have been enough to squeak this one by as a summer movie but when the days grow shorter and the wind blows chill we ask...

I heard about movie Eagle eye and then start to search about the story.
Hard to find many articles. Most of them just could not give what is it about. But I found a good article on http://blog.80millionmoviesfree.com/in-theaters/eagle-eye-running-to-revenge-unknown-mystery after reading that I got a clear picture of the movie. Interesting and characteristic one. More than action movie it contain good story behind, still need to know is there a political background as they say Didn’t look as it was on the trailer. May be it is hidden behind.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that (Matrix, The Net, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Man Who Knew Too Much). Exciting action without being offensively graphic or tedious. Moving camera work is edgy without being too distrating.

Thanks, Claire! An astute assessment, though for me it did get tedious. Yes, my friend and I started singing "Que Sera Sera" during the big scene at the end because it reminded us of "The Man Who Knew Too Much."

Hi, Derik! Yes, there are special screenings for critics before the movie is released so we can publish our reviews the day the movies open. The studios arrange the screenings and some of them are also open to people who win tickets from radio stations but some are critics only.

Thanks for writing! If you see the movie, let me know what you think.

Hi,
Thanks for the movie review. I know this might sound like a silly question, but exactly what is the "brief, strong language" that is used in the movie?

It's the usual for a PG-13 -- a bunch of s-words and one f-word, plus some hells and damns.
