I think one of the greatest first kisses on TV, though not a first kiss for either character, is when Kirk and Uhuru were compelled to kiss by a hypercontrolling alien. There was even in their resistance a release from their otherwise thinly cloaked infatuation and desire. This one moment caused some relief from over-pent inter-racial anxiety. It was a wondrous moment, betraying the notion that Star Trek was both a prophetic work as well as a romantic fantasy for guys.
