What about “Rollerball”? Not so stylish as your suggestions, but certainly more in keeping with “Whip It”. I do like your suggestions and will watch for them on TCM, AMC, and elsewhere

Tots, you’re overlooking Rollerball, but screw that, you’ve overlooked the best roller disco skate movie ever, and filmed at the most legendary rink in LA — roller mecca “Flippers” — it’s: “Skatetown USA!” (featuring: Ruth Buzzie, Patrick Swazey, Scott Baio, Maureen McCormick, midget Billy Barty, Horshack from Welcome Back Kotter, and Cher singing the theme song “Hell on Wheels”!!
What could be better? And then there’s Linda Blaire in “Roller Boogie.”
