'Monsters Inc' Extras

Tuesday November 10, 2009

Categories: Cool Stuff

"Monsters Inc" is one of my favorite Pixar movies. Like "Sesame Street," it makes monsters silly and fun, teaching children that some things we think are scary are not and that we are stronger and braver than we know.

It's out on Blu-Ray for the first time this week with some delightful extras:

Roundtable Favorite Scene (Bonus)

On the Job (Film clip described in "Roundtable Favorite Scene")

Featurette: Tokyo Monstropolois (Bonus)

Nell,
Have you been to the Monster Inc. attraction at Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom, Tomorrowland? They make a good attempt to involve the audience too. It is fun (though I miss Timekeeper with the Robin Williams and Rhea Perlman matchup, along with Jeremy Irons).

It is a good movie and worth watching several times, especially with kids. Then you get to try and explain Borscht belt humor!

I am jealous, jesterfyl -- I have never been to that attraction, but have heard the interactive features are sensational! I am a huge fan of WDW and hope to be back soon.
