I’ve never been a big Verhoeven fan, and although I have a soft spot for the 1990 Total Recall, I always thought the movie could have been much better with a strong actor in the leading role. So needless to say I was looking forward to seeing Colin Farrell as the protagonist. That is until today, when I noticed that–despite opening this week–there’s not a single critic review posted at Rotten Tomatoes. Isn’t the absence of advance screenings usually a sure indicator of a deeply flawed film?

John, you will be seeing some reviews on Rotten Tomatoes by tomorrow, I’m sure, including mine. I’ve seen it, and I liked it!
