Are U.S. colleges hostile to Christian students?
Are Christian kids on U.S. college campuses facing open hostility and discrimination because of their faith? Supreme Court Justice Justice Samuel Alito seems to think so. So does U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Daniel Ripple – and human rights attorneys Gregory Baylor and Jordan Lorenc

Building a Temple to Atheism
When I say temple, you think religious place of worship right? When I say atheist, you think one that believes there is no God. Stay with me now, when I say religion, don’t you think about the worship of God? Before this blog becomes a full blown say what you are thinking game, let me get to

Good. Now if only our brave soldiers who need abortions in foreign countries could get them in safe US facilities instead of having to use whatever is available locally.

The last article I remember reading a B-net article about jails, it was that all the jails were removing religious texts from their libraries.
So…it’s okay for the government to provide criminals with abortions…but not Bibles.
…
Oy vey.
God bless.

Can you provide some documentation; I vaguely remember something about removing some things but don’t remember the details and doubt all the texts are being removed. Anyway there are all sorts of organizations that provide free Bibles and who knows what all else.

Thank our Founders we have Constitutional Rights, and a judicial system that follows them.
Only some religious books were removed in the last article I read about it.

Good. The inmates who choose not to have children in jail should be able to get a safe abortion.

They weren’t removing Bibles. They were limiting the chaplain libraries to a very restricted list of books promoting a restricted set of ideas about various religions.

I doubt this sherrif is set up for a nursery in his jail (and I suspect it is very much “his” jail). So it seems the inamtes are thinking more clearly than is he. I am glad the courts have prevailed and allowed these women some sense of responsibility and choice.

No one seems to be even talking about exactly who the ‘fathers’ are.
Conjugal visits aside, I wonder how many female inmates are raped by their prison guards and how many pregnancies are a result of that?

Immaculate conceptions?

The sheriff in this case is Joe Arpaio. He has a reputation that some (including me on occasion) admire as tough. However, he also has repeatedly run afoul of the law and is currently under investigation on unrelated charges. He sounds a lot like Gen. Custer when he speaks. This is a case where he needlessly misspent Arizona taxpayer funds.

“He sounds a lot like Gen. Custer when he speaks.”, saith bh021552
And remember what happened to Custer!
I expect these ladies arrived in jail in a state of pregnancy. If they were impregnated while in jail, that is certainly worthy of investigation (these calculations are easy enough to do – even this sherrif could handle the arithmatic)
He is working hard at becoming the blemish on the national behind. Let’s hope he does not become infectious!

There is no correlation between Bibles and abortions. The “oy vey” is misplaced.
