Just proves how spiritually blind an entire slice of religious quiche can be. Beck, a Mormon, who claims to be “Christian”(oxymoron) and the vast majority of evangelicals are pro-Israel to the max. But along comes just a very small snippet of Judaism, radically liberal in social issues, that can’t see the forest for the trees. cmaglaughlin, evangelicals only care about Israel because it’s part of their “end of the world” nonsense. They could care less about most individual Jewish people since they don’t believe Jesus is their Messiah. Hence their blatant hatred of Jews (and other people) who don’t blindly support Israel the country in every action it takes, no matter how morally questionable.

Also, where do you get off saying Glenn Beck can’t call himself a Christian if that’s what he believes he is? There’s hundreds of definitions of what it means to be Christian. (Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, Anglican, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc, etc.) What makes the LDS/Mormon definition less valid than the rest?

cmaglaughlin, speaking as someone who grew up in the Christian faith, I am having some difficulty determining what you are rambling about. You speak ill of people because they do not share your self-assured righteousness about what you interpret faiths to be. And yet, I do not recall Jesus telling His disciples to hate and ostracize those who are different or unsure.
