Attribution is important. I don’t know who “Pete Lewin” is, but this list was originally posted to Usenet decades ago by Jerry Maguire, an English teacher. This took 2 minutes of googling to verify.

The more we dependently indulge in allowing the artifice of our silicon machinery to do our thinking for us, the less naturally thoughtful we become. Now the only matter concerning us beyond this is the entertainment that should mesmerize us the best.
