umm, they weren’t there for a job fair. they are protesting at least one of those companies “hiring”. bank of america is run by criminals that should be prosecuted. hence, the sign “hard time for wall street crime”. way to completely miss the point.

THis says it all…they want to complain, but they don’t want to work. What a bunch of overqualified, whining babies who only want to vilify someone or something. They will eventually be violent, mark my words. They are given a pass because they are liberal, so the media paints them as heroes but conservatives were said to be crazy, racists, and other derogatory terms. CBS, NBC, ABC are all promoters of liberal ideals. There is not ONE fair report on any of the liberal media outlets. They will skewer Cain, but Obama can smoke, do drugs, poke fun of the handicapped, lie, support ACORN, gay marriage, etc. He helped ram Obamacare through even though it won’t be implemented until 2014 when it causes devastation to a weak economy it will once again be blamed on Republicans, because that is what Democrats do. Blame, lie, dig up dirt on others, but when it’s them they give it a pass. Remember Bill Clinton’s personal life is not our business but Herman Cain’s is? Phony double standards but then Christians see the hypocrisy and liberals are blinded by their own self-importance.

Why would they when they feel there is something wrong with the system and those companies? This is not just about jobs, this is about making corporations responsible and ending corruption in our government.

So, this is proof of what I have said all along. These young people want to start in at the top, and it just doesn’t work that way, and never has. Even with a college education, you start at the bottom and work your way up.

This is a publicity stunt on top of a publicity stunt. Say what you want about the “occupy” protest, it still doesn’t boil down to a group of people protesting because they’re out of work. Unemployment is just one of the issues. Many are drawn to the protests who have jobs, or – if they don’t – aren’t in a position to accept employment yet (such as college kids joining in). To reply to it with job applications – as if, in this climate, all these protestors had to do was apply for work – is just another publicity stunt. A job application is not a job, especially with companies that aren’t hiring and have already laid off thousands. It’s an insultingly obvious bit of misdirection, one that papers over the economic issues for which these protestors are trying to raise awareness. Even if one were to take the “occupy” protest with a grain of salt – as a publicity stunt – this counter-stunt is nothing but an attempt to falsely label these protestors as folks who just need to “get a job.”

If they decline the job offers maybe they should put in jail, and made to clean up the streets of DC in their orange outfits. It time that the gov’t steps in and do something about these BUMS.
