Barna: 8 out of 10 young Christians can’t apply their faith to everyday life

Eight out of ten young Christian adults in America have no idea how to apply their faith to their daily living, reports pollster George Barna.

His finding was announced as the Barna Group released its end-of-the-year top six trends in American faith for 2011.

One of the most favorable discoveries by pollsters was that three-quarters of Americans see churches as a positive factor in their communities. Only 5 percent consider the church’s influence to be negative. However, “Americans are struggling to determine how faith, Christianity and church fit into modern life,” reports Barna.

Among 2011’s other trends:

“Forty-one percent of Americans are unable to identify who they consider to be an influential Christian,” reported Barna. When surveyed about their Christian heroes, many Americans came up blank.

Billy Graham

“Only Billy Graham, the Pope, Barack Obama and Joel Osteen were mentioned by more than 1 out of 50 adults as the most significant Christian leaders,” reported Barna.

“Another way in which Christianity hit the mainstream radar was prominent discussion about hell,” reported Barna. “This issue sparked so much controversy and vigorous debate in part because America is

At age and throughout the next decade, a young person is fighting hormones and messages promoted by the entertainment industry. All the parental and church support in the world can’t change this and belief in a Higher Being is helpful, but often discarded when up against the human appetites that kick in with puberty. Churches are irrelevant unless they encourage young people to actually read and understand scriptures – Old as well a New Testaments. As knowledge of the history, laws, and mankind’s purpose grows, so will faith. Sitting in a church pew listening to a short dissertation on one or two verses without seeing the unfolding whole story, will not help anyone.

What we are witnessing is the encroachment of a conditioned and indoctrinated spiritual bankruptcy planned to happen along with the simultanious destruction of atheism at the same time in the future. At that time the “global elite” plan to reveal the so callled “doctrine” of their “gutter religion” and looser “god” called lucife the devil who is satan.

The only True God is the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. Our Lord and Savior is The True Lord Jesus Christ. God is not some “avatar” that incarnates or comes around now and then or some reptile that comes from outer space, as the religions that were in operation prior to the creation of Adam propounded. Their “avatars” was none other than the manifestations of the fallen and damned one himself, deceiving men and ruining their souls.

The Lord jesus Christ is the very incarnation of the Second Person of the Holy Trinity. The True Spirit of Christianity is poured out upon us all-the Holy Spirit-which the devil and his minions and servants are trying to stop from living in the hearts of men. The devil and his lot have failed.

Jesus Christ has Risen fom the dead, ascended to heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father and will be returning again in Glory very soon to Take His seat upon the Throne which is His only.
