Why was it such a big deal?

Because deep within all of us, there’s a longing for Jesus to return — to take His people home.

 That’s why this classic prayer “Come, Thou Long-Awaited Jesus!” — written 300 years ago by John Wesley’s brother Charles — still speaks to all of our hearts.
