That was awesome. Have I ever done anything like that? Not at Venice beach.. no.. the closest I’ve come was meditating outside my apartment in college on Easter morn. A family was getting ready to go to church or something and the kid kept running past me. I’m not as cool as him, though, I had on a set of Sony headphones with nothing playing to make it look like I was just really into the music.

That was cool! I live in Daytona Beach, and sometimes I meditate on the beach, but no-one has ever joined me. I think it just looks like I’m watching the ocean.

i sit on a mossy outcrop/cliff off a side trail on a nearby mountain in the cascades.

When i was a messenger i would meditate between calls when it was slow. Only in certain lobbies though, security guards would bust me for “sleeping”. It was beneficial, my U-lock vs car incidents went way down.
