Did you fall off the proverbial weight loss wagon? Lose a few pounds and then find them? Gaining, gaining, pounds not insight? Spring is just around the corner.
Time to come out of hibernation and remove the layer of winter excess!
As we all know (but it’s good to be reminded), those who reach their weight loss goals are the ones who get back on the wagon again and again. They learn to see that these setbacks are temporary lapses, and they learn from them. They look at the big picture over a long period of time. They understand that there are no magic bullets, no quick fixes. The turtle wins this race.
Here are a few thoughts and tips to get you and keep you on track:

Practice Loving-Kindness. Please stop saying mean things to yourself and being so hard on yourself. (If someone else called you a fat pig, you’d punch them in the nose!)
All Is Forgive, Move On. Confess your food sins to Our Lady of Weight Loss and MOVE ON.
One Day at a Time. Take each day as it comes. As long as you are truly committed to your plan – to yourself – you are on the right track and you ARE succeeding.
Postcards From the Edge. Buy a pack of postcards or greeting cards. Mail yourself a kind and encouraging word of encouragement. Getting mail is so much fun. It’s okay to be quirky, kooky and creative when it comes to permanent fat removal! “Hi Jane, I know how hard it was for you to say no to that cake. Bravo and thanks. Love, Jane”
Get Support. The Kick in the Tush Club Community is here to support and serve you. Join now!
Yes, YOU Can: Make “Yes, I Can!” your mantra. Sing it to yourself, say it to yourself; take it in on the deepest level.
The 80/20 Rule. No one is perfect 100% of the time. Praise Be! Imagine how dull that would be?! If you follow your plan 80% of the time, and treat yourself to an occasional treat 20% of the time, you should be able to easily achieve your weight loss goals.
Practice Gratitude: Every night before you go to sleep, jot down at least five things that you are grateful for. Eating is often about filling a void. Fill up on gratitude for all that you do have!
Are you ready to hop on the express?

I’m a emotional eater, good or bad, gotta stop it before my next check up or the Dr I go to for my underactive thyroid is gonna blow her stack. I need to loose this anyway, I have held on to it for to long, time to shed the excess before I end up on meds I know I don’t need, just gotta PRAY to God for some self control, & LOVE myself enough to do it. Besides I live in Texas, & its murder during the hot months with excess poundage around the middle. They said on a news report that to much excess weight in your middle can be contributed to dementia down the road. So here goes.

I’ve started exercising and eating better because I have 6 months to “get in shape” for my wedding. But the little slips really make me feel bad. So I really liked the confess your sins to the Lady of Weight Loss comment. I think we all need whatever encouragement we can get, whether it’s for a good job on staying on track, or for the little slips we all do. Maybe we can all encourage each other. If anyone feels the need to talk or vent, here’s my email: luci_butterfly69@hotmail.com.

WOW! Thanks for giving me the okay to be quirky. I love the recommendation of filling the void with gratitude. Your playful humor reminds me not to take life to seriously but to take everything in stride.

This is to Luciana. Yes, weight around your abdomen is the worst place to hold fat. It can also lead to diabetes.
