GO CRAZY! Your Life Salad

GO CRAZY! It’s Your Life, is it not?
Create It the Way You Want it – Off-the-Menu Salad!

This beliefnet blogger has been on the road, promoting the best Permanent Fat Removal book ever (if you LOSE it; you will FIND it)All Is Forgiven, Move On: Our Lady of Weight Loss’s 101 Fat-Burning Steps on Your Journey to Sveltesville … and I’ve got to say, eating on the road is easy! Not because the menu that the restaurants and hotels offer are fully loaded with low-cal, low-fat choices! Far from it! It’s easy, because I got creative and found a new way to order!
Here’s how you can ORDER off the MENU!
1. Read the menu. Note the ingredients used in the various dishes offered.
2. Make a list of what ingredients work for you (mental list or on paper).
3. Then, put the ingredients together in a new way.
4. If they say, “Oh, that’s not on the menu.” … You can reply, “Oh sure, it is.”
Here follows the best salad I ever that I created!!! As Our Lady of Weight Loss says, “You can order off the menu in a restaurant, as well as life.” If what’s offered doesn’t work for you, tweak it, change it, create it. It’s YOUR life!
It’s YOUR Life Salad!
Ingredients: arugula lettuce, chick peas, roasted beets (yellow), nicoise olives, feta cheese (a sprinkling), mandarin orange slices, 3 ounces of seared fresh Tuna steak.
Instructions: Place layer of arugula lettuce on your plate. Then add yellow roasted beets (slices), a few nicoise olives (pitless), a sprinkling of feta-cheese (one or two ounces tops), a 1/4 to 1/2 cup chick peas, mandarin orange slices (6 from the can; wash off or pat off the syrup) and a few slices of freshly seared tuna steak.
Note: There’s so much delish taste from the mix of foods, in particular the feta cheese, that there is absolutely no need for salad dressing. And you’ve just saved hundreds and hundreds of calories! BRAVO!
Spread the word (NOT the icing)!

Eating out is a major challenge for me, and even if it is a bit of a stretch, given my lack of ability to ask for what I want in life, I’ll try it. You’ve got a point. If they have the ingredients, they could put them together in another way.

If what’s offered doesn’t work for you, tweak it, change it, create it. It’s YOUR life!
What was offered? A plump little girl, who became a chubby teen, who became a morbidly obese woman.
Does it work for me? Not so very much, thank you. I am fat, I am miserable, I am beginning to develop health issues. I do not like the fact that I have no control over myself. I can not, or choose not to, control my eating, control my emotions, control my health. Do I want to eat myself to death before I’m 50? No, not particularly. Do I think there is the possibility that I will eat myself to death before I’m 50? Oh, yeah. Most definitely.
Tweak it, change it, create it. I most assuredly know HOW to do all of those things. I could write the definitive weight loss book. I could WRITE it, but I couldn’t necessarily LIVE it. Why not, you ask? That is the million dollar question, yes indeed. Why can’t I create the life I want, or more appropriately, why won’t I?
It’s MY life! That, in and of itself, should be significant; however, it just doesn’t seem to be. This is the part where I make the declaration to eat conscientiously, exercise diligently, and become the slim and trim person I am destined to be. Let’s not waste my time and blow smoke up your butt. The chances are slim and trim that I ever WILL become that destined person. I want to be a participant in my own life. I’m tired of being a sad, unhealthy spectator.
If what’s offered doesn’t work for you, tweak it, change it, create it. It’s YOUR life!
It is and I will. One day at a time, just for me, because I deserve to be happy. Martyrdom isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. An old quote from somewhere said, if it’s to be, it’s up to me. Yep…it IS my life and it’s about darned time I started acting like it!
