Our Lady of Weight Loss

A Video of Janice Taylor on WCBS Radio!

posted by Janice Taylor, Editor | 1:46pm Monday December 15, 2008

Hey everyone, I was ‘on’ the Pat Farnack Show, WCBS Radio, a few weeks ago. The radio station ‘filmed’ us informally. In other words, they set up a camera and let it roll. There’s no editing, no lighting, no complementary angles, no hair or make-up. It’s me arriving early in the morning … talking for about 8 minutes. If you are curious as to what I have to say, how I look, are a fan of Pat Farnack (she has a lovely radio voice, and is a wonderful person), then hit the play button!!! Let me know what you think! Spread the word … NOT the icing,Janice

Anyone out there remember the "Manwich?"  In 1969, Hunt's introduced its Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce and it revolutionized the Sloppy Joe.  It sure was a staple in our kitchen.  My mother, the gourmet, used to break it out on special occasions.   No disrespect meant, Mom.  :) Here's

Play "She's Got a Screw Loose" - Weight Loss Puzzle and Lose!
Today's Get Jiggy Weight Loss JigSaw Puzzle is inspired by the saying "she's got a screw loose." Have you ever wondered about the origin of the phrase she's got a "screw loose?" The phrase, which means "something is wrong with the person" dates back to the 1780s, when the industrial revolution

It’s really true that what’s important is that you have kept the weight off for over seven years! Flexibility is a big key too. You are a great example of what you are teaching. And yes, you are gorgeous!

I think the idea that we are a movement is absolutely inspiring! It’s got a small-time, neighborly feel to it which tickles me! We ARE a movement – a force to be reckoned with! Cheers, Janice and happy holidays!
