THE COLOR GREEN: Sound Judgment. Stability. St. Patrick.

posted by Janice Taylor, Editor | 7:23am Tuesday March 17, 2009

ART color wheel.jpgIt’s St. Patrick’s Day and this blogger is curious how the color green is going to affect her day.
The Psychodynamics of Green by Janice Taylor
Color can create balance and harmony within us, on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Each color has its own unique frequency of electromagnetic energy that passes through us like a wave.
While most of us are used to seeing colors everywhere, we rarely stop to think about how the color might be influencing us or affecting our day or mental state for that matter!
Because today is St. Patrick’s Day, in all likelihood, we shall be saturated with the electromagnetic energy of green from a multitude of sources. People will be wearing green, television will be talking green, and green drinks will be served.
With that in mind, I thought it could be useful to know about the color GREEN and how it may affect you today!
In general, GREEN …
… can increase your energy without scattering it.
… promotes sound judgment, stability and physical equilibrium.
… acts as a relaxant.
… is soothing.
… is good for eye problems, bronchitis, gout, diabetes, cysts, tumors, bones and anti-inflammatory, helping with painful joints and allergies.
… is associated with recycling and environmentalism.
More specificially …
Antique Green
… is associated with romance and Venus.
Mint Green
… represents springtime, youth, beauty.
Chartreuse
… induces jealousy, discord and doubt.
Olive Green
… brings forth visions of enchanted gardens.
Forest Green
… activates fertility, images of the forest, wealth and riches.
Fir, Cucumber and Hunter Green
… are the best colors to wear to an interview or on camera!
Emerald Green
… brings to mind Ireland, commitment, employment, prosperity, new beginnings, change, plant and tree energy, generosity and health.

Green is not my favorite color, the paint in my room is color white, though my favorite LOL talk is light to darkest green, ever!I don’t have reason or answer why i love green jokes, all i know is that it just simply make me LOL easily, but at the same time feeling demure when i am with people i respect(seriously!)The only certain answer why i love green jokes is maybe because of my experiences, that life must have treated me so unkind because as i see my girls growing,i always ask myself question like”did they really came out of me?are they really my kids?how did i survived those normal deliveries?”. I say these things maybe because of trauma?I have many questions in my life but i dare not question the ONE who use through my body to give birth of my girls,”GOD”.
