Broccoli Sprouts: Miracle Cure for Gut Bug.

posted by Janice Taylor, Editor | 9:28am Monday April 6, 2009

We now know, thanks to a report in Cancer Prevention Research, that THREE DAY-OLD BROCCOLI SPROUTS suppress Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections, one of the most common bacterial infections worldwide that cause stomach cancer.
While the protective effects of sulforaphane, a phytochemical from broccoli, have been known for almost two decades, the report shows for the first time the life-saving effect of broccoli in humans.
The study showed that THREE DAY OLD BROCCOLI SPROUTS contained 20 times the concentration of sulforaphase glucosinolate found in mature broccoli.
Please note: I said, THREE DAY-OLD BROCCOLI SPROUTS. While broccoli, in it of itself, is rich in cancer fighting agents, evidence suggests that to substantially reduce the risk of cancer, one must eat broccoli in large quantities. Certain young broccoli sprouts, grown under standardized conditions, on the other hand, contain large and highly uniform quantities of the compound.
Where does one buy THREE DAY OLD BROCCOLI SPROUTS?

Certainly powerful new findings. In addition, information obtained from Zpryme Research points to a subsequent study conducted by both the Japan Institute for the Control of Aging and The Tokyo University of Agriculture uncovered that those who consumed at least 3 1/2 ounces of broccoli sprouts on a daily basis for just one week noticeably reduced their cholesterol level and improved their HDL levels. Moreover, individuals that included broccoli sprouts in their diet also decreased the amount of oxidative stress; for example oxidative stress plays a role in the cause of wrinkles and sagging skin.
