This week’s GET JIGGY JigSAW Puzzle – BEET of MY HEART - is inspired by my husband’s birthday celebration. We got together with family and had a juice-off!!!
We broke off into teams, went to the local mega-supermarket, and brought home ingredients to juice. It was sort of like Iron Chef -but not!
Anyway, my entry was a mix of carrots, apples, beets and ginger. The color was spectacular. I came in second place, to my son’s first place, which was fine with me, because – after all – I’m rootin’ for him big time.
If you are wondering about birthday cake, we bought little cupcakes, put candles in them, cut them in half. In other words, the cake was not the centerpiece of the celebration, nor the food.
A grand time was had by all!
Get Jiggy with BEET of MY HEART!!! and remember clicking not only keeps your hands and mind busy; it burns calories, too!
Spread the word … NOT the icing!
