Signs of the times: Obama's eye

Receiving favorable reviews from some bishops is one thing. Seeing concrete plans of action being implement is a totally different story. Canon law requires implementation of a Finance Council. I know of 2 parishes in my dioces where one doesn’t exist. And, if they do, how are the members appointed? Unless experienced independent laity are members AND they have some kind of say (including veto power over some clerical stupidity) then they aren’t worth the pretense that they maintain.
