Murder is never okay, this person is not a pro-lifer as murder is the antithesis of life. If a person guns down an abortion provider he/she is no better than the person who performs or procures an abortion. That being said, I expect some fallout from this! I expect some pro-choicers to instantly want to label all pro lifers as extremists to silence the debate, especially in the upcoming S.Ct. hearings for Sotamayor.
According to the Kansas City Star, Dr. Tillers clinic was attacked by someone who made a hole in the Clinic's roof, and stuffed the rainpipes so the water flooded the clinic at the beginning of this month. He was found not guilty of anything in the last trial held in Wichita by the jury. Everyone should be shocked by this blatant murder of a Dr. that was practising legally. When the law becomes a law then the opposing people certainly can try and change it that is the American way isn't it? What isn't the American way is becoming radical and thereby causing pro-lifers to throw caution to the wind to kill the person they don't agree with. Same idea why the homophobes kill and attack the LGBT. Our government needs to do something fast about all the hate mongering in our country.

When you have someone like Randall Terry speaking, referring to Obama as a Nazi, is it any surprise that the followers of Operation Rescue might decide to take the law into their own hands?

Yes, whenever a side claims that their opponents are immoral and inhuman, it's no surprise when a zealous follower feels empowered to treat his opponents as vermin that he can murder.
The pro-life folks know that abortionists are not murderers, yet they have been calling them that for years. It's no surprise when their followers decide that the legal system has failed and that they feel they have the duty to assassinate those who have been repeatedly, falsely accused of murder.
Why does a man that thinks it's okay to kill babies go to church? God's word is VERY clear that God hates the shedding of innocent blood.Just because man's law says it's okay does not make it okay with God.READ HIS WORD.And what kind of Pastor allows a man that kills babies to be an usher?A pregnancy may have been a mistake but the baby never is.Prime example of the danger of letting mankind alter God's word to justify their own sin.Nothing happens that God doesn't allow.
I denounce the killing of anybody, but I wonder why it's ok for people to not be outraged at the killing of a serial killer, but they're shocked about the killing of someone who has killed many many tiny babies, fetuses, however you want to call them. Whatever name you choose, they are not animals, they are not just things, they are human beings, and just because at the time in which they're in the womb they don't fully look like anyone that has been born yet, that doesn't mean their lives are worth any less or that they're not human. If anything, late term gestations are those who have very human looking babies. It's just easier to pardon the killing of someone who is unseen and invisible to the rest of the world right? Someone who can't speak for him or herself right? For those who think it's ok to kill babies in development, I ask them if they're happy to have been born, and if they're happy that no one tampered with their weird looking selves when they were in the womb at one point. If the answer is yes, then they're the hipocrites!
Underdog, maybe he felt it was okay because IT'S HIS JOB TO PROVIDE ABORTION SERVICES FOR WOMEN WHO NEED THEM!!!!!!!! By the way, you argument about God hating the "shedding of innocent blood" is lame considering God shed all kinds of innocent blood in the Old testament so that his "chosen" people wouldn't assimilate and start worshipping other gods (after all God is more jealous than a high school girl). So if God orders the slaughter of children (you know, the ones who are actually living outside their mother's womb) for something so silly, God probably doesn't care about what Tiller was doing. Funny, I never see those pro-life (well, I guess they are not so pro-life now huh?) take action against pedophiles, you know, the people who actually hurt children!
Oh, before anyone starts going all "evil pro-choice", I don't agree with abortion unless it's to save the mother's life or in cases of rape/incest. But hey, I just don't get one! I am pro-post womb life!

The law is clear.
You have chosen to be offended that something is legal. You probably voted for the Republicans who promised to do something about it, but did not. It is your right to oppose this legal procedure, but it is still legal. Calling it murder does not make it murder. Calling a fetus a baby does not make a fetus a baby. Asserting that a fetus is equal to a baby, when the law has never treated them as equal, does not make them equal. If you want to argue that abortions should not be allowed, please do so. I will listen, but don't make false claims to me unless you want me to oppose your conclusion.
Once again we have people reciting what God has done or said incorrectly because they have never bothered to read the Bible for themselves.
You never know who you are talking to here,maybe the product of a rape whose mother chose to turn a nightmare into a life that is blessed with children of her own or even a former abortion nurse that has held tiny broken bodies ripped from their mother's wombs.Gasping for breath and bleeding at the hands of someone that "claims to be providing a legal service" Do you know how many of these "fetuses" live for many minutes after the attack or how many open their eyes.
Do you really think that a Holy God that created everything is okay with this?
While I don't agree with killing these doctors they are not as big of victims as the tiny infants they destroy.
I am certain that this doctor has stood before God by now and given an account of all that he had done and for that he is sorry,I'm sure.
I refuse to argue with anyone that justifies the slaughter of children and I am comforted in knowing that no matter what you believe you do not change that God is real.
Rabid liberals are already destrying this world and you will according to God have your way for a while anyway.God is not mocked and never loses.

News reports tell us that Scott Roeder, a member or former member of Operation Rescue did this.
somebody who ended lives had his life ended. I find it sad on both sides and speculating into the motivations of either person is futile as only God know what is in thier hearts.
Freelunch, I truly hope those reports are not accurate. Not because I am a fan of O.R. (I am certainly not), but more because I do not wish to see what kind of backlash may result from it.
I praise both Dr. George Tiller and Scott Roeder....I look forward to spending eternity with the both of them.
