Moving on, and many, many thanks...
So...my recent vacation and related absences also coincided with an offer from PoliticsDaily.com to cover religion for them, as editor Melinda Henneberger announces here in her roundup on the site's very successful first 100 days. That means, in short, that I'll have to sign off from blogging h

Calvin at 500, Calvinism 2.0
If you thought you knew John Calvin--who turned 500 last week--you probably don't know enough. For example, that he was French, born Jean Cauvin. And if he was in fact scandalized by dancing, he was also a lot more complex than that. I explored the new look Calvin in an essay at PoliticsDaily, "Patr

…. I worked with one once….it was painful to hear someone talk, and even talk within the freedoms of our Constitution of the dominance within their minds of racial seperation…he was younger than myself, which too was shocking as I assumed that that type of mentality was present only among the older and poorly educated… but since I have met the Christ, I know that such individuals are pittifully in the sway of Satan…. racism is a moral evil, similiar to when our Christ said that whosoever calls his brother raca (fool) is in danger of hell fire… racism is merely then one of the more virulent expressions of a Satanic nature…. its a pity our laws cannot touch such a sin…but when God is not at the center of all affairs, then there is room for the growth of such who are blind with error…among others…

… in fact i remember prayerfully following the example of Dr.Martin Luther King jr. in a racial situitation and meeting God… it takes courage not to be a raciest either passivly or activily….. it takes courage to love and do what is right to all men and women as unto the Lord….. that is what Satan wants no one to do…. White Supremecists, as well as Black Supremeiscits or Red or Yellow, are in no way “responsible” before God… so even the term ‘responsible racists’ is a most tortured contradicton…
