Where would you go?

Where would you go?

My daughter and I are currently preparing for our trip to Antarctica to see the Emperor Penguins.

I’ve never thought about visiting there before, but all of a sudden, I can’t wait. That said, there are still places I have to venture off to that I hope to visit in this lifetime.

What about you? Where is the one place you’d like to visit that you haven’t been to yet?

Post it in the comments section and then if I can get the rules figured out right here we’ll pick one randomly after the weekend for a signed book…

ANTARCTICA!!!!
I had a chance, and lost it, many years back while in the Navy. Turned down orders for personal reasons to VXE-6 at Pt. Mugu, CA.
The squadron’s C-130′s transported National Science Foundation personnel from Christchurch, NZ, to the ice. When I was ready and up for orders again, the squadron was decommisioned and the planes turned over to the NSF. I could have kicked myself. Just a word of advice, make sure all dental work is done and dress warm!!!!

Antarctica is amazing… having gone there and beyond, I am entranced and under the spell of the island of South Georgia. The island is dynamic and intense, rich with nature and the wildest that this planet has to offer. There’s just one company that does it justice in terms of depth, and that’s how I’ve had the good fortune to go there: Cheesemans’ Ecology Safaris.

I am praying that I am able to cruise with my church in November to Cozumel,Mexico, simply because its a great desire to visit there. I also want to visit Jamaica, WI, and Bahamas ~~ hopeful you will if you have not~~but enjoy wherever your travels lead you
