The Screwtape Letters should be required reading for every confirmand or new member of all Christian churches. Lewis shows the insidious ways the devil works to undermine one’s faith better than any preacher I have ever heard talk on the subject. All Christians need to understand that Satan works on us daily to get us to do his biding and not God’s.
