Luke 15:8-10 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
We’ve been sitting with the Father, joining Him in His watch. He’s watching and waiting for His prodigals. His eyes scan the horizon just waiting for the first glimpse of His beloved’s return. We are joining Him and praying. He tells us that our prayers are the force necessary to change the hearts of His children. He’s confident that our prayers will avail – so confident that he’s fattening up some of his livestock to prepare for the pending celebrations. He is full of faith.
So, we continue to pray.
I speak to the minds and wills of prodigals and say, “Reject perverse ideas! Stay away from every evil in the Name of Jesus Christ.”
I command doors to open that would bring godly influences into their lives. I slam shut every door of evil influence in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
I take up the call to ferret out the wicked and free Your child from the grip of evil. I call down the powers of addiction in Jesus’ Mighty Name. You must go now. I bind the spirit of pride and arrogance. You must leave in Jesus’ Name.
I ask You, Father, to remove the film over the eyes of the deceived. I apply the Blood of Jesus to these eyes and cry out for mercy. I cry out for justice. I cry out for repentance and returning. May these beloved prodigals once again believe the good news – the good news that You are loving, forgiving, and just waiting to celebrate their return.
Amen
After I prayed this this morning, I looked back at the tree where the Father was waiting, and He was not there, just a few apple cores and a dove. There is a note simply saying, “Be back tomorrow.” He loves it when we wait with Him.
“Okay, Father. See you then.”
In the distance I could hear someone whistling a tune… “Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling…”

Most major religions in the world involve prayer in one way or another in their rituals. Although in many cases the act of prayer is ritualized and must be followed through a sometimes strict sequence of actions (even going as far as restricting who may pray), other religions, mainly the Abrahamic religions, teach that prayer can be done spontaneously by anyone at any moment.

Sometimwes I pray earnestly for something , not money, not material things, but for something to happen in my life or mostly my grandchildren,s life and it just doesn’t happen. I know in my heart it would be in their best interest but it doesn’t happen. Then I begin to wonder if God is listening to me or if He is even in my presence. How do I know He is listening? How do I know I am getting through to Him.

WHEN WE PRAY,WE NEED TO BELIEVE WE RECEIVED IT,WE SPEAK WITH OUR MOUTH AND BELIEVE IN OUR HEARTS.GOD REQUIRES PRAYERS FROM HIS CHILDREN
AS A LOVING FATHER GRANTING HIS CHILDREN’S DESIRES,BUT HE KNOWS WHAT AND WHEN TO GRANT YOUR PETITIONS,HE’S A LOVING FATHER WATCHING OVER YOU AND ME.

I know how the grandmother feels, that her prayers are NOT answered in the way she asked them. But – sometimes prayers are answered, “Not yet,” and we have to fervently believe that the time will come when God DOES answer your prayers. I agree that we have to have both BELIEF and FAITH when we pray, and not to ask for mundane things that we can solve ourselves. He has answered many a prayer of mine, even before I ask him. “Ask, and ye shal receive. Knock and it shall be opened to you.” He knows your wants and needs BEFORE you ask Him, but – be sure to ask just to reinforce His love.

Prayer, in many ways is a verbal account with God and his ability to answer and provide the desires of our hearts. I believe that when we are expecting a prayer to be answered and it is not in our time, we get discouraged (we lose faith) and that deactivates the power of readiness to deliver what you requested. I believe that we all already have what we desire in our hearts we are just to full of fear to recongize our abilites to heal, to change, to succeed. I believe that at creation since God is all knowing he has and always will know what you need before even you know what you need, is to say that is to say that he has already provided.
Everyday I learn more about me and about the God that I serve, one thing that I do know is that he is an unselffish god. His mercy is uspeakable and his grace even i dont deserve but I do know that he loves me and most importantly he loves you. Be blessed, even a mustard seed size faith is good enough for God, use you god given power to change the things that you wish to change.

Patience is awaiting for God’s time without doubting God’s love. Our weakness + His strength = moving mountains

I so enjoyed this! No matter what the “pest” is in life this still stands true! God only wants the best for us and when we pray in His alignment, I BELIEVE He will provide the answers and resolution we need.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful story.
