Luke 15:8-10 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
We’ve been sitting with the Father, joining Him in His watch. He’s watching and waiting for His prodigals. His eyes scan the horizon just waiting for the first glimpse of His beloved’s return. We are joining Him and praying. He tells us that our prayers are the force necessary to change the hearts of His children. He’s confident that our prayers will avail – so confident that he’s fattening up some of his livestock to prepare for the pending celebrations. He is full of faith.
So, we continue to pray.
I speak to the minds and wills of prodigals and say, “Reject perverse ideas! Stay away from every evil in the Name of Jesus Christ.”
I command doors to open that would bring godly influences into their lives. I slam shut every door of evil influence in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
I take up the call to ferret out the wicked and free Your child from the grip of evil. I call down the powers of addiction in Jesus’ Mighty Name. You must go now. I bind the spirit of pride and arrogance. You must leave in Jesus’ Name.
I ask You, Father, to remove the film over the eyes of the deceived. I apply the Blood of Jesus to these eyes and cry out for mercy. I cry out for justice. I cry out for repentance and returning. May these beloved prodigals once again believe the good news – the good news that You are loving, forgiving, and just waiting to celebrate their return.
Amen
After I prayed this this morning, I looked back at the tree where the Father was waiting, and He was not there, just a few apple cores and a dove. There is a note simply saying, “Be back tomorrow.” He loves it when we wait with Him.
“Okay, Father. See you then.”
In the distance I could hear someone whistling a tune… “Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling…”

I have a brother in the army and was stationed at fort hood a couple years ago. I’ve been there and seen how huge that base is. I just want to say that I’m praying for the families who have soliders at fort hood, and pray that everyone is okay.

…yes, by all means, we might as well pray, for all the goos it’ll do. Belief and faith and being sheep, always in service to some invisible shepherd – these are ODD things to consider virtues. Maybe REALITY would be nice for a change, eh? I’m just suggesting this – to those still capable of putting aside their beLIEfs for a moment of lucidity – as a totally revolutionary ALTERNATIVE to the currently prevailing ‘world view’.

My sister in law is stationed at Fort Hood and is a Medic. We have been unable to reach her and are praying that she is okay. We are also praying for those wounded and those who have lost their lives. We are hoping that she is busy helping the wounded and just unable to answer our calls. God bless her and them all.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all our soldiers, and their familes and friends. We pray for the souls of those who died, and for the lives of those who were wounded. And we pray for the soul of the person or persons responsible.

Fort Hood is no stranger to me and my family (e.g. all males are in the military and have been to Ft Hood at least once). My cousin is still non-responsive to phone calls, and my brother has been trying to call him and his old sgt. down there since this afternoon, but he too is not answering… I don’t think my cousin has had anything happen to him, because they said that calls to kin were rather quickly made, but I’m still praying for those that did lose their lives and those that are wounded, and overall the mentality of all those there, this is horrible situation, but I know God’s got everyone under his wings.

I don’t know what I would do if something like this happened to me or my husband or any of our friends. I am praying for the familes and loved ones of the ones lost and the ones injured. I pray for the Victims and their families. My heart and sympathy goes out ot them. This man WILL pay for what he has done to the nation, and the “Army Family” as a whole. May God Bless all! HOOAH!

It’s not about being a muslim or not, but a psychopat-murder who got his mind all screwed emanating fear all of his life then baam, today – we saw a gruesome reality of what he really is capable of.. The only question remains, Now that he is alive? Shall we expect the unexpected? I wouldn’t be surprise if a week from now a tabloid will report “Ford shooter bites the dust”
