Luke 15:8-10 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
We’ve been sitting with the Father, joining Him in His watch. He’s watching and waiting for His prodigals. His eyes scan the horizon just waiting for the first glimpse of His beloved’s return. We are joining Him and praying. He tells us that our prayers are the force necessary to change the hearts of His children. He’s confident that our prayers will avail – so confident that he’s fattening up some of his livestock to prepare for the pending celebrations. He is full of faith.
So, we continue to pray.
I speak to the minds and wills of prodigals and say, “Reject perverse ideas! Stay away from every evil in the Name of Jesus Christ.”
I command doors to open that would bring godly influences into their lives. I slam shut every door of evil influence in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
I take up the call to ferret out the wicked and free Your child from the grip of evil. I call down the powers of addiction in Jesus’ Mighty Name. You must go now. I bind the spirit of pride and arrogance. You must leave in Jesus’ Name.
I ask You, Father, to remove the film over the eyes of the deceived. I apply the Blood of Jesus to these eyes and cry out for mercy. I cry out for justice. I cry out for repentance and returning. May these beloved prodigals once again believe the good news – the good news that You are loving, forgiving, and just waiting to celebrate their return.

After I prayed this this morning, I looked back at the tree where the Father was waiting, and He was not there, just a few apple cores and a dove. There is a note simply saying, “Be back tomorrow.” He loves it when we wait with Him.
“Okay, Father. See you then.”
In the distance I could hear someone whistling a tune… “Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling…”

10 tips voor een website die werkt 8 november 2008 door Bart Binnenkort spreek ik op de KMO-IT Inspiratiedagen, over bruikbaarheid van websites. Ter promotie hiervan maakte KMO-IT een magazine, dat als bijlage bij Z.O. (het blaadje van Unizo) in november verdeeld werd. Tom van Schrijf.be vertaalde hiervoor mijn presentatie 10 tips voor een bruikbare website in een vlot artikel: Tien tips voor een website die werkt Webspecialist Bart De Waele (netlash) klapt uit de biecht Tip 1: Blijf consistent in de opbouw Voldoe aan de verwachtingen van uw bezoekers. Verras met inhoud en niet met opbouw. Bewaart u de samenhang? Dan bewaart uw bezoeker het overzicht op uw website. En weet hij waar hij vandaan komt, waar hij is en waar hij naartoe kan. Geef uw bezoekers daarom voldoende houvast, in de vorm die hij kent van andere websites. Voorbeeld? Zet uw logo linksboven, waar iedereen het verwacht. Tip 2: Ga niet over de schreef met letters Het web is tekst. En toch leest de surfer niet op het web. Hij scant uw website. Maak uw website dan ook scanbaar. Kies voor korte zinnen – niet meer dan 55 tekens per regel. Trek de aandacht met tussentitels. Gebruik schaalbare lettertypes die de gebruiker zelf vergroot of verkleint zoals hij wil. Vermijd HOOFDLETTERS en ga voor schreefloze lettertypes zoals Verdana of Arial. Tip 3: Maak de inhoud draagbaar Breng de berg naar Mohamed. Probeer niet wanhopig bezoekers te lokken naar uw website, maar breng uw inhoud naar plaatsen mét bezoekers. Hoe? RSS-feeds voeden geïnteresseerden met alle inhoudelijke wijzigingen op uw website. En met API’s (Application Programming Interface) krijgen ook derden toegang tot uw gegevens. Tip 4: Streef naar snelheid Surfers zijn ongeduldig. En willen meteen op de goede golf zitten. Zorg ervoor dat uw website snel laadt en uw bezoekers snel en intuïtief door de inhoud en de navigatiestructuur van uw website loodst. Op http://www.websiteoptimization.com test u de snelheid van uw website. Tip 5: Breek de stilte Stilstaand water verdampt. Alleen als u uw website inhoudelijk voldoende vernieuwt, blijven uw bezoekers hem een bezoek waard vinden. Publiceer daarom regelmatig nieuwe informatie. Bied uw bezoekers een meerwaarde en houd het relevant. Met een Content Management Systeem (CMS) doet u dit moeiteloos zelf – zonder de hulp van IT’ers.
