McCain Pulling Ahead?

Monday August 4, 2008

Categories: Election '08

While one new poll has Obama beating McCain among white working class voters (remember, the ones Obama was supposedly unable to attract), another poll has McCain pulling ahead nationally.

From TalkingPointsMemo.com:

In short, the recent mudslinging in the campaign may well have played in McCain's favor. Obama has not dipped from his usual range, but it appears that some undecideds have been pushed into McCain's column for now.

Negative campaigning DOES work -- but only if it goes unchallenged. McCain has nothing to offer as president other than a sense of entitlement, so it is understandable that he resorts to pathetic personal attacks against Obama. It is up to Obama to refute the attacks and expose them as a sham.

McCain thought it was funny to compare Obama with the Messiah. Then he offers to reward the oil industry for ripping off the American public. He may lead in the polls for a couple of days but he is off my charts completely. He would have been a good president eight years ago but he has sold out to Corporate America's god, greed.
