New McCain Ad Implies Obama is the Anti-Christ?

Saturday August 2, 2008

I don't know about you- but I found this McCain campaign ad "The One" to be one of the most offensive ads we have seen in American politics to date.

At best, this ad implies that those who plan to support Senator Obama are looking for a new savior or a replacement Messiah.  But many are reading it even more darkly as an attempt to portray Obama as an anti-Christ figure.

A vote for Senator Obama is a vote for the man we think will make the best President, not for a new Messiah.  As Christians, we have one Lord And Savior.  Jesus Christ.  It is blasphemous to suggest otherwise.

And it is beyond offensive to suggest that Senator Obama is a false Messiah or the anti-Christ himself.  How low can we go?  It shows the McCain campaign is willing to make a mockery of our faith to feed people's fears.  Christians need to reject this out of hand.

We will be calling on the McCain campaign to repudiate this ad and take it down immediately.  If you would like to add your voice to this effort, please email me at mara@matthew25.org.

Dr. Alveda King, neice of Dr. Martin Luther King who will NOT be voting for Obama says in her link, African-American outreach on www.priestsforlife.org site, "Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in America. 78% of their clinics are in minority communities. Blacks make up 12% of the population, but 35% of the abortions in America. Are we being targeted? Isn't that genocide? We are the only minority in America that is on the decline in population. If the current trend continues, by 2038 the black vote will be insignificant. Did you know that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a devout racist who created the Negro Project designed to sterilize unknowing black women and others she deemed as undesirables of society? The founder of Planned Parenthood said, "Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated." How is her vision being fulfilled today?" Obama promised Planned Parenthood Action Fund last year,(see my next post)

Obama promised Planned Parenthood Action Fund last year,"The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act." This would wipe away state laws limiting abortion, undoing decades of legal work, research and educational successes. Obama is NOT our candidate and I pray for him to see how racist Planned Parenthood is preying on the black community. The incredible Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. could rally people to fight racism to defeat the injustice of segregation and inequality. The unborn who are "slaves of the womb", our brothers and sisters cannot rally themselves. We must speak for them. And lets not kid ourselves that abortion is good for women www.silentnomoreawareness.org has united many, many women who regret their abortions. Abortion may be legal today but it is in no way safe. Women's chances for breast and cervical cancer rise rapidly after an abortion and it does one heck of a job on their psyche. Planned Parenthood is against informed consent because less abortions equal less dollars. Who's biased, crisis pregnancy volunteer clinics or $Planned Parenthood$?!? Women need to feel safe to admit they regret their abortion instead of criticized for rejecting the "pinnacle of freedom women have won for themselves." The silent no more women have been persecuted for speaking out about their trauma and pain. As a Christian the Bible is clear! In the first chapter of the Book of Jeremiah verses 4-5,"Now the word of the Lord came to me saying"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations." So God knows who He is making before He makes them and He consecrated Jeremiah BEFORE he was born. Also Psalm 139:13-16: (13) "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. (14) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (15) My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, (16) your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book BEFORE ONE OF THEM CAME TO BE." Google pro-life quotes and the Bible and you'll find tons more. 4000 babies are killed by abortion everyday. 40 MILLION since abortion was made legal. Compare that to the casulties of the Iraq war. Compare it to all the wars. Abortion by far has been the worst scourge and is it being covered non-stop by the media like the war is? No! What if 4000 citizens of the U.S.A. were being marched into gas chambers everyday in a U.S. city? This would surely be covered in the mainstream media! But this is infact happening everyday in our "civilized" society when babies are being rippped and torn limb from limb from their mother's wombs. Babies are being born feet first except for their little heads, then scissors inserted into their heads, brains suctioned out and then after being claimed officially dead are removed the rest of the way from their mother's womb. This is what happens in every partial birth abortion. How about saline aborions where a salt solution is injected into the mother's amniotic fluid and so a baby breaths it in and is burned both on the inside and outside of its body and it suffocated to death. These are not the actions of a civilized society or norms of feminine progress. These are the tactics of Nazi Germany and other evil regimes! Obama even voted against the Born Alive Act which called for medical assistance to be given to a baby who survived an abortion, check out www.bornalivetruth.org for real life stories. Let's be a life giving and loving society. Let's breathe hope into women in crisis and speak to them about choices that will not harm them or their child. Let's share the hope of Adoption not the scourge of abortion because unless you're an elitist Jesus wouldn't abort anyone! So if you want PEACE remember they'll be no peace in the world without peace in the womb!

Sheila, I know you feel very passionately about this topic, but either you are allowing someone to fill your head with a bunch of hooey, or you are deliberately making up things you know are untrue.

Senator Obama did not say the things that you attribute to him, nor is it consistent with any of the policies of his campaign.

Furthermore, the African American population is not declining. On the contrary, the black population in American continues to grow at twice the rate of the Caucasian population.

Please don't misrepresent facts to fit your argument.

While I am not thrilled with this add, why is there nothing that has John McCain saying that he approved this ad? Is this REALLY a McCain campaign add, or just an ad produced by people who want McCain elected. We all need to be very careful this year, on all sides, to be honest with each other.

We lost, a simple truth. Now i prepeare to batten the hatches. I will start by hidding my guns, as Obama removes the right to bear arms. I will network with my friends of like mind. We will prepare for this as people did in the 60s, awaiting the nuclear winter. I expect un-precedented support of abortion. Socialism will be the theme. The hard worker must pay to support the lower income strata of our nation.
What outcome will occur? Perhaps this begins the end times as written in Revelations. I believe America as we now know her will be gone forever. Civil war is something i now see as a possibility once again.
It will not be about race, but ideals. a choice between good and evil.
I am proud to have been a Marine, and fought for the America my forefathers created. But even the Roman empire collapsed. It is foolish to beleive this cannot happen to the USA. I pray that this will not happen in my lifetime. But i am prepared to accept it if it happens.
