Darfur Follow Up: Take Action

Wednesday September 3, 2008

Join the Save Darfur campaign to build political pressure for the next president to make Darfur a priority from day one in office.  The campaign includes efforts to gather a million postcards to deliver to the new president urging the steps mentioned in the previous post.  To order free postcards for your congregation or organization, and to learn more about the campaign, email postcards@savedarfur.org.

Whoever is able to protest against the sins of his own family but does not do so is liable for his family.  Who ever is able to protest against the sins of the people of his community but does not do so is liable for his community.  Whoever is able to protest against the sins of the entire world but does not do so is liable for the sins of the entire world.

-Babylonian Talmud, Shabbat 54b
