The Spiritual Messages of Chanukah and Christmas -- and Their Downsides
Christmas and Chanukah share a spiritual message: that it is possible to bring light and hope in a world of darkness, oppression and despair. But whereas Christmas focuses on the birth of a single individual whose life and mission was itself supposed to bring liberation, Chanukah is about a national

Obama (and Biden) Have No Clue About What's Bothering Their Political Base

Could not they have chosen neutral groud rather than a liberal bredding bed? That is filled with socialist and Islamic influence, kinda uphill battle for McCain don’t you think?

I want to address the comment about the location being an “uphill battle” for McCain. This might bring harmful attention to the Republicans, and I don’t think that is what the poster intended.
It is true that the focus of the attacks would tend to make one think the attacks were directed against Republicans: the stock market was the target in NY (free market trading), the Pentagon was the target in Arlington (the U.S. Defense Department) and the White House is believed to have been the target of the plane that crashed in PA (the President of the U.S.). The White House at the time was occupied by a Republican, the Defense Department was being run by Republicans, and the Republicans are historically far stronger advocates of free market trading than are Democrats.
So, while it is true that these attacks were made on institutions that were under Republican control, I do not think that this should reflect badly on the Republican party in the United States.
These were attacks on our country, and standing UNITED is part of what we need to do, as Americans, when honoring those hurt by attacks on America.
