Memo to Chuck Norris: America, Love it or Leave It.

Wednesday March 11, 2009

A couple days ago I needed a haircut and a shave.  Passing by an unfamiliar barber shop I noticed a sticker in the window that I hadn't seen for a few decades that read: "America: Love it or Leave it."  ...

Completely disagree with you. This is not a Bush vs. Obama thing. liberal vs. conservative, etc. debate--Chuck said nothing about being a Republican, etc. He has put down Bush and he puts down Obama--his beef is the federal government is out of control (AGAINST the founding fathers). Rather than just go after the personality, read Chuck's thoughts on the Founding Fathers and compare to how feds are running. You missed the whole point! I'm no big Chuck fan, but I am a fan of our founding fathers, and Chuck's new book NY Times best seller, "Black Belt Patriotism," is amazing and very well researched. Check out the dozens of 5-star reviews at Amazon and why it has stayed a best seller. http://www.amazon.com/Black-Belt-Patriotism-Reawaken-America/dp/1596985585 You can also get a free chapter of the book at www.ChuckNorrisNewBook.com

frank,

"why did you and your liberal chums stay and day after day persecute the last president"

Because the last president nearly ruined the country. Because the last president shat on the Constitution. Because the last president did illegal things. Because the last president took the country to war because of lies. Because ...

Well, there are so many reasons to persecu- ooops, make that prosecute him, there isn't enough space in one blog to count all the reaasons.

That's why.

Thanx 4 askin'.

This president is ruining the country, this president is whatever colorful adjective you wish to use on the constitution, because this president is out of his depth, because this president by his own admission is "too tired" to deal with foreign policy (isn't foreign policy the preserve of the president???) because this president tells lies because he is incompetent he will fail

There is not enough blog space to count the reasons - thanks for the opportunity to list some of them

My opinion so that makes it fact (isn't that the liberal way?)

I much prefer the motto "America, love it or change it," more really. *Grins*
I honestly can't see why this saying was created in the first place, disagreement is one of the hallmarks of a healthy democracy. And yet Norris and others like him who are so woefully out of touch and fringy like that better check themselves, advocating armed insurrection against a lawfully elected government sounds Mcveighesque.

With that kind of talk, that makes Chuck Norris a domestic terrorist and can be subjected to waterboarding. And if he doesn't like being tortured or waterboarded, then he can go complain to his buddies Bush and Cheney. They made it "legal", afterall.

But in the mean time, how about the FBI wiretap Chuck's phones and email accounts without court approval? Oh? Don't like that either, Chuck? Again, take it up with your buddies Bush, Cheney and Ashcroft. They made it "legal" to do warrantless wiretaps, out of view of any checks and balances.

And Bruce Lee could still kick your butt, Chuck.

I believe what Mr. Norris is getting at is the corruption of this country transcends the parties, and if there is to ever be a change for the better, it won't come in the form of either a republican or a democrat- (in the recent conventional sense)
BOTH parties represent the bankers and the elite that run this country.

"If you own both horses in the race, it really doesn't matter which one wins."
I said that-

Texas secede from the Union? I thought the GOP was the party of Lincoln?

Just a reminder that the husband of Gov. Saraa Palin, GOP Vice Presidential Candidate, was a member of a political party that stood for the succession of Alaska from the Union.
I guess he and Chuck would have supported Jeff Davis & his bunch of patriots!
