Bill Donohue is Angry at Radical Secularists...Again

Thursday October 22, 2009

By John GehringCatholics in Alliance for the Common Good Just in time for Halloween, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights is once again spooked about all those "radical secularists" lurking ominously behind ever corner....

"Hollywood likes anal sex"

Well, maybe. But then again, who doesn't? ;{O)

That progressives can no longer see the bogey persons that have sickened our world with vice and violence, is because they are so comfortable in that environment that they have become part of it.

And it isn't in their attempt to bring other persons of moral sickness out of it, but rather to celebrate their entry and dwelling there. Too.

Donohue's voice finds brotherhood with Peter, John, James, Jude, Paul and of course what's His Name. Oh yeah Jesus. That fundy preaching hell and damnation a lot! (What an intolerant judgmental phobe huh?)

And then there's all of those pesky fundies known as the prophets of Israel.

Political UN-correctness; certainly the place to find a real believer.

It is heart-breaking to see so many once-Christian people "on the Left" so active in the new mob of New Sodom.

Oh yeah, Bill is a new version of Lot. (Let's hope his children are as sickened by a 21st century progressive morality as that of the family man fleeing the storm of fire and brimstone.)

Bill is the new Lot like Glenn Beck is the new Moses. The man is a nutjob - a freakishly hate-filled outrage machine masquerading as a concerned Catholic. He's a blustering blowhard.

Hate is encouraging young people to embrace and engage in homosexuality.

Donohue is doing well.

Donohue is certifiable, plain and simple.

Bill is right! The culture was is on, and we're winning. Intolerant blowhards like him and his ilk(Glen, Rush, Michelle, Ann, etc..) are on their way down. The neocons have had their day in the sun, now it's time for the people to take the power back. The true Christians are the ones that actually act like Jesus and help the poor and the afflicted downtrodden of society, not stand in their ivory towers and pass judgement. Donohue should be ashamed of himself, and his followers need to ask themselves: WWJD.

Mere you,

"the bogey persons that have sickened our world with vice and violence" tend largely to be self-described "Christians" of late. Pace Ted Haggard et al.

"Hate is encouraging young people to embrace and engage in homosexuality.

This is not possible. Either one is or one is not a homosexual, and no amount of "encouraging" is going to 'change' (or 'cure') anyone.

Delusional as usual, I see.
