A gift, I think not. An opportunity I guess if you approach it that way. But one to be avoided if possible.

I believe what she is saying is that through the grace of God can all bad things be made good.

Thanks for sharing. I have tried to find the “gift” in every overwhelmingly bad circumstance I face. It isn’t always easy but it is true that something good can come out of almost every bad circumstance we face.

Certainly not a gift anyone would be begging for. Hopefully, we’ll all learn this lesson without having to go through something like this.
