I spent a good bit of the evening reading the political blogs myself, though saddened by each and every article which complained how unconservative all the candidates are, except for Fred, who of course “can’t win”, so why get behind him. Have a Happy New Year and lets hope that in 2008, some conservatives take their blinders off and see Fred as the best candidate we’ve had in years.

Yes but keep this in mind: From wikipedia, “…the only non incumbent candidate to win their party’s [Iowa] caucus and go on to win the general election was George W. Bush in 2000.”

The connection between Bush and Huckabee — Christian support. Might not bode well for the rest of the election cycle.
