Check out what’s his done in the Senate before you go on TV or this can happen to you. Man! That was pretty brutal. I have never seen Matthews go after a Democrat like that before. And the poor guy was so funny when Matthews asked him point blank what were Obama’s legislative accomplishments, he had that deer-in-the-headlights look (not as bad as the Bush deer-in-the-headlights look, though 🙂 and then there was silence and then he said “I’m not going to be able to do that tonight.”

It’s fascinating listening to people explain why they support Obama, they sound like they’re describing a product. “He inspires,” “he motivates,” “he has solutions,” “he wants to do away with labels and get things done.” They all repeat the same sound bites like Amway salesmen. Obama should be commended for the wonderful job he did in branding his name and if by some huge miscarriage of justice on the part of Clinton or by an upset due to the Republican base showing up in record numbers (yeah, that’ll happen), he doesn’t become the president, he should think about starting a marketing firm.
BTW, Hillary is already using this incident on the stump.
I think she’d be smart to film an ad with a man on the street interview asking people coming out of an Obama event what the Senator has accomplished that makes him fit to be president and leader of the free world. I bet it would be pretty amusing.
