Even though engadget appears to be sold on this robot and thinks it’s a great idea, it’s clear from the video that we are a long way from a robot slave cleaning our kitchen. It’s slow and pretty limited in it’s movement.

It seems like it would be more work to maintain the robot and supervise it’s work than to just do it yourself.

Yeah, but maybe after a few more iterations it will be worth it.
