McCain’s bribing people to leave comments on blogs

posted by Susan Johnson | 5:21am Thursday May 22, 2008

You can earn points by being a troll for McCain:

John McCain’s campaign is using their campaign website to encourage supporters to post supportive comments on political blogs, including the most well-known liberal site in the blogosphere. And to make things easier, they’re including talking points with which sympathizers can use to get out the McCain message.
“Select from the numerous web, blog and news sites listed here, go there, and make your opinions supporting John McCain known,” instructs the page.

He’s targeting Daily Kos (I’m sure they’ll find a warm welcome there) and Red State.
If we had a decent candidate, we would be doing this on our own. It’s telling that he has to bribe people to do it.

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

“Bribe?” Where’s the cash or prizes? It seems McCain wants his supporters to help the lost out of the dark pits they dig for themselves. It appears he’s encouraging his supoorters not bribing them. Obama on the other hand, is “promising” utopia and a messianic reign of hope and justice ruled of course by him as the all-giving, all-understanding, appeasing utopianic figure. (For Christians, please note that Christ Jesus, the real Messiah, Whom it is reported, even Obama believes in, was not an “appeaser.” In fact, Jesus never met with Roman terrorists, except during His trial process). I’ve been posting replies here a Beliefnet.com, for quite some time now, going to even more hardcore leftist sites is a brave thing to want to do. Here at B-Net there are some free thinking non-sold out people still. But McCain is running for a secular position. Especially at The Daily Gomorrah er, Kos, just look at how leftists trample human children and you’ll see there is little chance of getting them to see the evil of their “political” ways IN their strongholds. But at least McCain wants to try. Seems like a good thing to do if you want to be president of all the people. Even those that hate him. For the record, McCian is far and away the lesser of the two evils we get to vote for in this presidential election. Let’s get that word out.

How much is he willing to pay? With my writing style if I get paid by the word I’ll starve to death.

I see Satan still has your tongue, Donny. So much for the Centurion that Jesus met with concerning his servant. But then that doesn’t fit with your theme of the day, does it Donny?
The Bible says that we can know true followers of Jesus by their fruit. Thank you for showing us yours, Donny.

I think I’ll go to the most conservation blogs and tell them to vote for Ron Paul.
Do you think that the radical Left will ever support McClain? I don’t. It’s like asking Pat Robinson to petition Rome to canonize Bill Clinton.

i doubt mccain can win over the smallest sliver of any of the left. he’s having enough trouble getting adequate support from the center and the right.
now that the democrats are close to determining their nominee, the fun with mccain is about to begin!

May 19, 2007
WASHINGTON – Presidential hopeful John McCain – who has been dogged for years by questions about his volcanic temper – erupted in an angry, profanity-laced tirade at a fellow Republican senator, sources told The Post yesterday.
In a heated dispute over immigration-law overhaul, McCain screamed, “F- – - you!” at Texas Sen. John Cornyn, who had been raising concerns about the legislation.
“This is chickens- – - stuff,” McCain snapped at Cornyn, according to several people in the room off the Senate floor Thursday. “You’ve always been against this bill, and you’re just trying to derail it.”
