That's the gist of the comments on this post. Feminism hasn't gotten us very far if that's the case. If the party of the feminists sees no problem with their candidate being that condescending to women, then I guess all hope is lost.
I suggest that those of you who don't have a problem with the comment might want to read what the women had to say. I wonder if those women who didn't have a problem are under 40 because those of us in Obama's age group remember when that word was used quite freely and in a similarly dismissive and condescending manner as Obama used.

This woman was lucky. Obama is from inner-city Chicago, where women are referred to and treated like H-'s and b-----s. Has anyone taken the time to consider that Chicago's inner-cities are worse off now then when Obama worked to improve them? This playa, er, um, politician, couldn't even clean up some neighborhoods, and he thinks he can better America? If the GOP is smart, they will highlight Chicago/Illinois politics fron and center. Corruption is a culture identifier in Illinois politics.
Nobody who supports the current President can talk about politicians, and control over their tongues. Or their hands.
At least he didn't give world leaders shoulder massages without their consent.
I wish people would stop giving me reasons to vote for Obama!
give me a break michele. this is just another case where you and donny are in the same klub. neither of you give feminism its due so there's no reason that we should believe that this is suddenly an issue for you.
sorry, sweetie. none of my feminist liberal friends have a problem with this. it's just one more non-issue for you to stir around. when he smacks you on the ass and throws you a wink with a "hey there sweet cheeks" then we can talk.
Non-issue #48692-b.
Nothing to see here.
Move along.
