One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

That is exactly the way Obamaites think it will be like. Listen to the Stephanie Miller Show, the Ron Reagan Show and the Ed Schultz Show on liberal talk radio. Or visit any college dorm these days. Just remember, it’s not 2015 yet, and bring your condoms. But for Barack’s sake, leave your young children at home. Unless of course, you’re from the inner city, in which case your children are never at home anyway, and they have no fear of STD’s and punishment pregnancy. “Progressive” has to be the greatest oxymoron yet developed by the deceptive magic of neologism used by the “powers and principalities” in our rapidly morally deteriorating society.

Donny, probably the only thing more shocking than the video that I can imagine is UCLA kids meeting at 7:30AM every Sunday morning to carpool to hear John MacArthur at Grace Community Church. Yes, it happens. Not sure if MacArthur is reformed, but college kids getting up at 7:30AM for church! Let’s have some more of that Twilight Zone melody …

They missed something important! When Obama is President there will be no one in a coma because he will stretch forth his hand and they will all be miraculously healed.
And we are going to hold him to that promise!

heh – the peanut gallery has already supplied 6 comments, zz, yours included.
pretty funny parody, michele. (don’t you wish you were creative enough to do that stuff yourself?) that’s the great thing about parodies, they alter the truth for comedic reaction, without even using any real obama quotes.
try this one out: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gwqEneBKUs)
we know what the alternative is.

No, do you?
“that’s the great thing about parodies, they alter the truth for comedic reaction, without even using any real obama quotes.”
The great thing about real parodies is that they have an element of truth, that’s what makes them so funny.
“we know what the alternative is.”
Yes we do, don’t we?

yes we do: more war. more tax cuts to big corporations who outsource american jobs. more tax cuts for the inherited rich. deeper, longer recession. did i mention more war? thank goodness that mcsame is unlikely to win!
your idea of truth is a low-budget parody of the twilight zone television show lampooning a political caricature of obama. we see humor, you see truth. that explains a lot about you. how much further do you have to remove yourself from reality before your concept of truth feels acceptable to you?

Yes, and we know what we will get with Obama, four more years of Carter.
*Yawn* You don’t ever get tired of this, saying the same think over and over again? Cause I know I do.

i get tired of you avoiding facts, yes.
let’s see… what unfortunate events have you tried to blame carter for, again?
1. long lines at gas stations (i already refuted this being caused by carter… with facts and gas wasn’t pushing $130 a barrel and $4 a gallon then as it is under bush’s regime.)
2. iranian hostage deal (he dealt with the situation better than bush dealt with iraq)
so unless you have something better, i’d take 4 more years of carter instead of 4 more years of bush.

Obama is so hypercritical, it’s not even funny anymore.
Iraq = We are still there
Afghanistan = We are sending more troops there
Cuba Embargo = still in effect
Economy = even worse
Middle Class Taxes = raised, making Obama a liar
And more…
