Hmmm…makes me rethink voting for Bob Barr just to see if she’ll do it (didn’t Baldwin say he would leave and didn’t?). I guess she isn’t one of those Hollywood liberals who are secretly supporting McCain:
SUSAN SARANDON, who appeared in three films last year and won kudos for her TV movie “Bernard and Doris,” is still not a contented soul. She says if John McCain gets elected, she will move to Italy or Canada. She adds, “It’s a critical time, but I have faith in the American people.”
Sarandon should have learned by now never to put her trust in the American people, they are a fickle lot. One minute they say they hate Bush and are tired of the war and then the next they realize that Obama is a lightweight and would be kibble to the leaders of the rest of the world and our enemies and can’t trust him with our national defense (one can only hope but I’m certainly not putting my trust in the American people).

Oh, she won’t! We’re never that lucky.

Well, admittedly, she could and still make movies here. (Lots do that.)
I wouldn’t hold my breath, though.

That would be interesting to see. Especially if she has to take a huge loss on her house so she can move to Vancouver or wherever.
On a side note, it would be neat if we could scroll through the topics on that bar above your posts instead of clicking and going to a new one.

She’s crazy. Like it or not, McCain is one of the most centrist Republicans ever. Just goes to show that the mere “R” label makes dems equate you with Satan. Brainless.

Centrist in what sense? Remembering his courting of the Religious Right and the changing of several positions that might’ve been considered ‘centrist’ at one point.
So, what ‘centrist’ positions does he STILL hold?

We’re talking about, after all, the ‘maverick’ who, throughout his 20+ year career as a politician has voted lockstep with his party 88 percent of the time.

So long Susan – I’ll pay your fare IF you promise to NEVER come back. Where in the world could you have amassed such a fortune for so little effort – what have YOU ever given back – other than your smart mouth? Be gone! Take that idiot Alex with you.

To Susan Sarandon: My wife and I feel the same way. If McCain gets elected, we are moving out of this country also. We want to live where most of the people are still civilized and who believe in peace instead of perpetual war, fear, misery and death for profit. McCain’s victory will be a victory for fascism that Bush and his minions began eight years ago. How sad that the democratic ideals our founding fathers and others have fought so hard to create and maintain will be crumbling in the dustbin of history. I’m sorry Presidents Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Lincoln. I’m sorry to all of you who signed the Declaration of Independence and who mutually pledged to each other your lives, your fortunes, and your sacred honor. The beacon that has shone to the world our unalienable rights of life, liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness will be extinguished, if Republican McCain, a member of America’s “warrior class” is elected. Ms. Liberty in New York’s harbor will have tears in her eyes.

That and her comment about equating Obama to Jesus and Palin to Pontius Pilate. What a loser! These Hollywood liberals think that all they have to do is open their mouths and the rest of us will just follow. What a joke. I too have faith in the American People to choose the person who will best represent the U.S. both here and to the world. Just a hint, that is not Obama

God is in total control, not Hollywood! I have faith that whoever wins is Gods plan. By the way I’m voting McCain & Palin & canceling out her vote!
