Tsk, tsk! Is this how the future president should act?

Urging his supporters to lie to their bosses:

Please join us as we knock on your neighbors doors and bring Senator Obama's message of hope, unity and change. There is nothing more effective than connecting with another voter and expressing your story. Only you can do that. You know how important this is! I know I don't have to ask, but I will one last time--please join us tomorrow. Call in sick if you have to and help us all day by canvassing or offering rides to the polls.

President Obama! I like the sound of that. Tonight he was interviewed by Wold Blitzer, who asked about Obama's mother and what she would say to him if she were still living. Obama said something like, "She'd tell me not to let it go to my head, to keep working hard."

Obama said elsewhere that when he was little and they were living in Indonesia, she would get him up very early to work on his English language lessons. Once when he complained about having to get up, she said: "Well, it's no picnic for me either, Buster."

Spoken like a true Mom.

Politics is all about lying, and as people call in sick for all kinds of reasons, usually involving golf or baseball, political campaigning certainly has its place.

"Glad to hear that, from the sound of the title of this post, you're acknowledging that McBush doesn't have much of a shot."

What happened to McSame? *Yawn*

I haven't a clue and neither does anyone else.

"I haven't a clue"

You have never typed truer words, Michele.

"You have never typed truer words, Michele."

You're an idiot and a common troll. At least pick a name if you're going to hurl juvenile slurs.
