Reformed Chicks Blabbing

The Hillary supporters aren’t too pleased with the party

As you can see from this video:That is one ticked off chick! Republicans used to be called the party of the “angry white male,” I think this election it may become the party of the “angry white female.”

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

I’m angry, too. Obama deserved none of the votes in MI because HIS NAME WASN’T EVEN ON THE BALLOT! He willingly took it off, nobody forced him to – that was his mistake, his polititcal mistake. People keep talking about the mistakes Hillary made and how she can’t take them back. Why is Obama being treated differently? And she is right – if he were anything but a black male he wouldn’t have even made it this far. If he were a white male, he would be Dennis Kucinich.

Well, I held my nose and watched the video.
Poorly formed arguments: “The best nominee possible” – Check. If she was the “best nominee possible,” all those millions of people wouldn’t have voted for Obama, now, would they?
Vaguely racist “and for what – an inadequate black male” – Check. Way to objectify and dehumanize – as if the sum of Barack Obama’s being is nestled in the words “black male.”
Angry, impotent, and delusional at the same time “I can be called white, but you can’t be called black – that’s not my America.” – Check. In your America, you crazy old bat, blackie would know his place – in the chauffeur seat Drivin Mizz Hillary, right?
No wonder Michele likes the loony old battalax.

Wasn’t it John Knox who coined the phrase, “the monstrous regiment of women…” Of course Queen Elizabeth 1.0 was not too happy with the Scots for that…
(But the wee kelpie in the loch agreed with him.)

Well, if hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, what are all of these women who feel that their one opportunity to see a strong woman in the White House was dashed by some man who has almost as much experience as George Bush had when he went to the White House going to do?

This woman is a typical Democrat. Mean, angry and demands to rule all. She doesn’t speak for my America, but like the typical Democrat, she demands to. And “Black” Democrats are even meaner! And we haven’t even seen the Gay Dems get into yet . . . But what should we expect from a group of people that kill their own children without a shred of conscience about it.

Insane. If Hillary had played by the rules and took her name off the ballot like she was supposed to while Obama kept his on, I kind of doubt these folks would be real sympathetic to Obama’s pleas to get the delegates seated. Not to mention that even with no other name on the ballot in MI, more people drove through snowstorms to vote AGAINST Hillary Clinton than for her.
I heard Donna Brazil earlier today and she said (paraphrasing here), “My momma taught me to follow the rules. And she taught me that when you try to change the rules in the middle of the game that’s called cheating.”
These people are pathetic.

As Charles Krauthammer said in a recent editorial, the chickens of identity politics are coming home to roost in this Democratic primary.
I’m not for Hillary because she’s a woman, though of course I would like a woman in the White House. Likewise, I’m not against Obama because he is a bi-racial man. And, I’m not against McCain because he’s a white Republican. I’m for Hillary because, in spite of the flaws of the Clintons, I think she would do the best job as President, and I trust her the most in the running of the country.
I’m writing in her name in November. Between McCain and Obama, I don’t care who wins.

Concession speech Why would a person that could get over 40% in a three man race in November and be president in 2009 do such a thing? If one dos not concede one remains on the ballot may be as an Independent so why concede?
