Because Fox and NBC are saying it’s Palin!
Update: This is amusing coming from the party that just nominated Obama:

REP. JIM CLYBURN LIKENS CHOICE OF SARAH PALIN AS MCCAIN VP PICK
TO THAT OF DAN QUAYLE OR GERALDINE FERRARO
SAYS PALIN IS “VERY RISKY”
AND THAT AS A CANDIDATE QUAYLE WAS “SORT OF AN EMBARRASSMENT”
WHILE FERRARO WAS A “DISASTER”

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

So apparently the job doesn’t require experience anymore? I guess I’m confused by the McCain camp.

The Presidency requires experience. It seems that this year the Vice Presidency requires stupidity, from both parties.
In 2000 the joke was that the election was between an idiot and a lunatic and it depended upon which day of the week the candidates were.
This time it is between the Village Idiot and the Town Moron for Vice President, and again, it will depend on which day of the week who is what.
An overrated clown versus a nutcase. Heavens, what has our great land become?

“Now all you lefties who don’t vote for McCain are SEXISTS!”
And not only did the Democrats deny Hillary the presidency but the misogynists are now trying to deny Palin the vice presidency.

Or perhaps a person who thinks that all women are interchangeable is the sexist?
That anyone in a pantsuit is the same as anyone else is a sexist? That this is as insulting to women as the advancement of Harriet Meyers for the Supreme Court is to those who are conservative religiously and politically, by implying that someone so ill equipped for the job was the only one with those qualities they could find.

So Karen, are you saying that Palin isn’t “really female”, the same way Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice aren’t “really black”?
