Joe Biden for VP?

I am so hoping this report is true and Biden is Obama’s choice. Imagine a campaign with two gaffe machines :-) it’s certainly going to be a lot of fun.

One Final Word
My dear friend Michele slipped into eternity on Wednesday, February 1.   She was a remarkable woman who left a legacy of faith, determination, and love. For three years she courageously battled the ovarian cancer that eventually robbed her of her life.  A few days before she died, one of her docto

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
My husband told me that there are rumors that I've died. I'm happy to report that I'm still very much alive. My cancer has gone to stage four but we are controlling it with chemo, the cancer numbers are currently in the normal range. I've stopped blogging to concentrate on my daughters and writing a

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right

Rest in peace, Internet Monk.
A man known in the cyber world as The Internet Monk, has died. Michael Spencer lost his battle with cancer tonight. My prayers go out for his family and for all those who loved and will miss him. :(

The peace that passes all understanding, pt. 1
I'm coming out of my normal hiding place to make a few comments. The internet is a strange place. It is often a wonderful place, a helpful place, a unifying place. But it is also alienating, cold, and is the perfect medium in which to depersonalize others. Through it, I have seen people reach out

It is either Biden or Hillary. My belief is that if it is Biden, he will play the role of one bringing validation. He won’t be bringing new ideas or trying to produce a new angle. This is about The Obamanation. The problem, of course, is that Biden is a terribly WEAK sister in this case.

Biden would make a better Secretary of State.

The real question is: Who will be Hillary’s VP?
Hillary ain’t dead yet, and she is going to grab the nomination.
I look forward to the ‘floor fight’ in Denver. It is going to be a battle royal.

It would be fun if Hillary were to grab the nomination, but I’m not sure how she could manage to do it.
Of course Chris Matthew’s head may explode, but that would also be worth the cost of cable. Seriously, if it looks like Hillary may pull it off I might almost be inclined to watch the Dem convention.
I’m not going to bother with the Republican one, no drama there, just boring speeches.

I’d hate to live inside your head, Michele. I do not understand what it feels like to think of anyone’s pain and embarrassment as fun.

i sort of like that idea, though i’d hate to pull him from the senate. i wonder if powell would consider another stab at the job under a better president. Or maybe bill richardson or even richard clarke or chuck hagel?

The only way I’ll vote for Obama., I’ve said from day ONE (1) Biden/Obama 08 – well, we screwed that up., so a Obama/Biden 08 will have to do! PS. I’m an X-Marine (Semper FI) Republican – switching party lines if Biden is on the ticket, if not Go McCain…….
